I was a little skeptical about the five-layer construction, but after using these dressings on a stubborn wound, the superabsorbent core really locks in moisture without leaking. They stay put for days and make dressing changes much less painful.

The five-layer design handles drainage far better than the thin gauze I was using before, and the silicone face didn't tug at the wound at all when I changed it. Only gripe is the adhesive edges started curling a bit by day three, but the pad itself stayed put well enough.
